RI Youth Suicide Prevention Guide

Home for the Holidays -  A list of some tips for both LGBTQ+ people and their family/friends on how to survive holiday gatherings.

Medical and Mental Health Provider Lists

Youth Pride Inc. List of Mental Health Providers - Youth Pride Inc. often get requests for referrals for mental health and medical providers who are LGBTQQ and youth competent. This link provides their  most updated referral list. The providers on these lists have either reached out to offer their services to the LGBTQ community or have been recommended to YPI by consumers. This resource is not an endorsement of any of their services and you are encouraged to research any potential provider and be an active consumer in your health care. If you find information in this list that is of concern or out of date please contact YPI at info@youthprideri.org

RI Trans* Health Referral Guide - This guide was made in response to a need for coordinated and culturally competent health care for the transgender, gender non-conforming, and gender variant (trans*) community in Rhode Island. The goal of this guide is to provide both medical and behavioral health providers and consumers with information about health care providers in the area who work with the RI trans* community.

A provider’s listing in this guide is not an endorsement of their services.
It is hoped that this guide will be a living document that can change and improve over time. If you have any feedback for this guide, please contact the RI Trans* Health Initiative at ritranshealthinitiative@gmail.com

This guide was made possible with support from the Rhode Island Foundation. This guide was greatly supported by the TGI Network, Northern RI AHEC, The Office of Lt. Governor Elizabeth Roberts, the Rhode Island Public Health Institute, and many individuals.
