The prom is intended for any LGBTQ+ student and their allies in the state of Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts.  There is no “age requirement” per se, but they do ask that it be for students 18 and under, as queer folk who are 18+ have other spaces and events driven towards them. 

Also, anyone who is 12 or younger will be asked to have a parent or guardian stay for the duration of the event, or as long as the student is there, as last year they had many young children that were at the event without a guardian and they needed support as it was hectic. 

They will not turn away anyone who is 18+ at the door, but they do ask for a small donation from them when they arrive.
